The renewal deadline for subscriptions is 1st February each year.
Members who have agreed to pay by Direct Debit will find that their Membership renews automatically each year until such time as they choose to resign their membership and cancel their direct debit. Overseas members who have set up a recurring payment via PayPal will also find their membership renews automatically until they cancel the arrangement with PayPal.
If you are an existing Member living in the UK and would like to start paying by Direct Debit instead of sending a cheque, please set up a Direct Debit mandate with GoCardless using the following link:
UK Members who still wish to renew annually by cheque should post it with their membership number or postcode written on the back, to the Membership Secretary, David Morton, at the address found on the inside cover of the Journal to reach him on or before 1st February.
If you have allowed your Membership to lapse completely, please reapply using the appropriate form on the Join web page.
Changing the format of your Journal
If any members wish to change the format of the Journal they receive, e.g., from printed to pdf or vice versa, they can arrange this by emailing the website editor.
Updating your details
It is really important to let the DCA know of any change to your postal address, phone number or email address. Correct email addresses are increasingly important as this form of communication will be used more frequently by the DCA to keep members up to date with important announcements. Please also remember that to access the Forum, your Membership email address must be the same as your Forum email address, so you need to update both if you change your email address.
You may also wish to keep the DCA informed of any changes to the boat you own and where you sail, as these details are shared with other members.
Cancelling your membership
Please complete the following form or notify the Membership Secretary of any decision to end your Membership of the DCA.
